Children International Summer Village (CISV), a UNESCO-partner NGO, in association with St Kabir Public School, organised a cultural exchange programme here on Sunday.

Participants belonged to Thailand, India, Norway, Sweden, USA, Canada, Finland, Germany, India, Indonesia, Norway and Sweden. Students (15 to 17 years of age) participated in an activity — ‘Chhaap’ — under the theme ‘Building intercultural friendships’ and showcased the working of the CISV. The students showcased cultural ethos of their respective countries through dances and presentation.

Gurpreet Bakshi, who is the CISV president of the Chandigarh chapter and Administrator at St Kabir Public School, said: “The CISV International has become a worldwide movement working for peace and intercultural cooperation.”
