St. John’s School, Sector 26, blanked Stepping Stone School, Sector 37, in the boys’ U-17 inter-school football championship here today.

Gurnoor scored a brace, while Manraj and Hira scored a goal each to help St. John’s to a 4-0 victory. 

In another match, St. Stephen’s School, Sector 45, registered a 2-1 win over Saupin’s School, Sector 32. Navdeep and Saransh scored a goal each for St. Stephen’s.

Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26, drubbed Ryan International School, Sector 49, 5-2.  

Viren scored the opening goal for Strawberry Fields. Arav and Divig Singh added a goal each to the tally after Akshat had doubled the lead.

Viren scored his second goal to help the side finish on the winning side.    

New Public School, Sector 18, meanwhile, overwhelmed Mount Carmel School, Sector 47, 2-0, with strikes from Karamjit and Gurpreet.
