Six booked for assault

The Kharar city police have registered a case under Sections 323,341,427,148, 149 and 506 of the IPC against six persons on the charge of assaulting and injuring Manpreet Singh, a resident of Jandpur and his friend Amaninder Singh on Friday.

Manpreet Singh told the police that he, along with his friend, was driving in his car number PB65AU4545 when they were attacked by the accused. They both were seriously injured and their car was also severely damaged. 

The police have booked Akashdeep, Chandpreet Singh and Sagar all resident Naya Shaher and three unidentified persons in this regard. The complainant and his friend were rushed to Civil Hospital Kharar for treatment.
