Shrawasti edge past the scare of Sidhak Kaur before to win the final of the girls’ U-12 category on the concluding day of the Northridge Open Tennis Championship, here on Sunday. Shrawasti faced a tough resistance before recording a 7-6 (3) win over his rival. Earlier, in the semifinals, Sidhak had blanked Anvi 5-0, while Shrawasti overpowered Mokshika 5-1.

Meanwhile, Gurmannat Kaur blanked Reet Arora 6-0 to win the title of the girls' U-10 category. Before setting up the title clash, Gurmannat defeated Hitanshi Sidana 5-2, while Reet registered a 5-1 win against Ira Chadha. 

In the final of the boys' U-10 category, Advit Tiwari overpowered Daksh Kapoor 6-2, while Anuj Paul won the boys' U-12 title by defeating Ankit Sharma 6-3.
