Show-cause notice to sanitation inspector

PANCHKULA: After receiving complaints from Sector 23 residents about garbage being dumped inappropriately, the Administrator-cum-Commissioner, Panchkula MC, issued a show-cause notice to the Chief Sanitation Inspector asking him why action should not be taken against him.

After receiving complaints from Sector 23 residents about garbage being dumped inappropriately, the Administrator-cum-Commissioner, Panchkula MC, issued a show-cause notice to the Chief Sanitation Inspector asking him why action should not be taken against him.

The show-cause notice stated that municipal waste 

was being dumped inappropriately in a dumping ground in Sector 23 leading to accumulation of waste in the area. 

Rajesh Jogpal said permission to hire JCBs and bulldozer on DC rates was granted to the inspector several days ago and a junior engineer was also deputed at the dumping site. He said despite all this, the municipal waste was not unloaded at the dumping ground.

While directing the Chief Sanitation Inspector to submit is explanation in this regard, Rajesh Jogpal has also asked him to ensure that the municipal waste was unloaded and passage was always clear. Jogpal said negligence by anyone would not be tolerated.
