PATIALA:The Department of History, Punjabi University, organised a seminar dedicated to 150 years of birth celebrations of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi on Friday.

The Department of History, Punjabi University, organised a seminar dedicated to 150 years of birth celebrations of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi on Friday. Sukhi Bath, founder of Punjab Bhawan, Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, was the chief guest.

Bath spoke on social problems of Punjabis in Canada. He highlighted the achievements of Punjab Bhawan after its establishment. Dr Yograj, HoD, Department of Punjabi Development, told about the contribution of Mahatma Gandhi in forming modern India. TNS
