School in-charge suspended

District Education Officer (Elementary Education) Gurpreet Kaur Dhaliwal today suspended the in-charge of Government Primary School at Nagal Faizgarh village under Kharar block-2 for being absent from the school.

Dhaliwal paid a surprise to the school and suspended in-charge Karamvir Singh on the spot after consulting the senior officials.

She said the school had only 11 students. She reached the school around 7.50 am and remained there till 8.50 am, but the teacher did not turn up. When contacted over phone, school incharge Karamvir Singh said he was yet to left for the school. Following this, she was immediately suspended. — OC
