Rs 22 lakh cash seized from Delhi man at airport

Mohali: The Mohali police caught a person, carrying Rs 22 lakh cash, from the Chandigarh International Airport here today.

Sandeep Dagar, a resident of Delhi, failed to produce documents, related to the cash. After quizzing the accused, the police handed over the case to the I-T Department official. The cash was stacked in a suitcase by Dagar, who came in a flight from Delhi today. “He told the police that the amount was meant to be given as a payment for a plot in Panchkula. — TNS
