PU regulates entry on Holi

The entry/exit to PU shall be regulated through Gate No. 2 (opposite Sector 15) on March 21 from 8 am to 4 pm on Holi. Gate no. 1 and 3 will remain closed during this period.

MBA Group Discussions to begin

University Business School, PU, is conducting group discussions and personal interviews for admission in MBA programmes for the 2019-20 session that will be held from March 25 to March 30. Shortlisted candidates have been informed on their registered e-mail address. In case any shortlisted candidate has not received the intimation, he/she should contact the AR (UBS) on email arubs@pu.ac.in. TNS

Session on software testing

A technical session on embedded software testing, verification and validation was conducted by experts from LDRA software at UIET, PU. The session began with a presentation on security-related incidents in the field of avionics, medical sciences, rail transportation and cyber security. This was followed by discussion on safety and security standards by various organisations such as CERT, ISO and IEC. The features of products for performing static analysis, including code review, quality review and design review were discussed. 

Alumni meet at PU

The Institute of Educational Technology and Vocational Education, PU, organised its alumni meet on Tuesday. Chairperson Dr Kanwalpreet Kaur congratulated the alumni for their achievements and highlighted major activities of the institute, including academic pursuits and infrastructure that led to the department’s growth. Alumni coordinator Dr Kalpana Thakur shared the aims and objectives of the alumni association and highlighted the experiences of old students of the institute for the progress of the institute. tns
