PU prof to teach in Saudi Arabia

CHANDIGARH: King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has invited Prof Ranjan Kumar from the Department of Physics to work there as professor for a period of one year.

King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has invited Prof Ranjan Kumar from the Department of Physics to work there as professor for a period of one year.

Prof Kumar works in the area of theoretical condensed matter physics, which include thermoelectric materials, fullerenes, carbon nanotubes and materials for spintronic applications. He has published 63 research papers in international peer reviewed journals. — TNS
