Property tax notice to 10

The Municipal Corporation has issued attachment notices to 10 property tax defaulters in the city.

Sources said the final notice for depositing tax dues was issued to the owners of six SCF in the Motor Market, Mani Majra and four booths in Sector 15. Approximately Rs 10 lakh is pending against them.

The notices have been served under Section 138 of the Municipal Act, which authorises the MC Commissioner to attach, sale or seal the property of tax defaulter. — TNS
