Police seek structural plan

Zirakpur, April 17

The Dhakoli police have written to the Zirakpur Municipal Council for copies of the original structural plan of the four-storey under-construction building that collapsed in Peer Muchalla on April 12.

According to sources, the police are seeking details of the building structural stability, its design as per the original plan of the contractor and the alleged alterations, if any made in its plan.

It has been learnt that the structure was approved by the MC but the building plan was altered without an approval and the construction of the building was wrong. —OC
