As a part of their two-day drama festival, the Theatre House in collaboration with the Punjab Arts Council, presented a socially relevant Hindi play ‘Salvaton Mein Samvaad’ at Randhawa auditorium here on Tuesday.
Written by playwright Mani Madhukar and directed by Shehnaaz Singh, the play defined, delineated and debated various dimensions and dilemmas which discover and evaluate the difference between the yesterday and today life of an old man and his young daughter, representing old and new generation.
The play starts with two strangers getting introduced to each other and as it proceeds there comes a connecting link between the two, which remains throughout in their talks.
This one-act play opens with an eager father, who has come to meet Nita-his daughter at her hostel. Priya Sandhu plays Nita, while Balochan Malik essayed the role of her father. Supporting lights and sets were designed by Gajinder Singh.
Sudesh Sharma, vice-chairman of the Haryana Kala Parishad, was the chief guest on the occasion and complimented the team.
