Two unidentified motorcycle-borne persons robbed Rs 10.45 lakh from a driver of Reliance petrol pump in Nabha today. 

The police said the incident took place near Hira Palace at about 10 am. The driver, identified as Jagsir Singh, was on his way to a bank on a motorcycle to deposit cash. In the meantime, two bike-borne men came and attacked him with a rod before fleeing with the cash.

The driver sustained injuries in the attack. 

The police said they were trying to find if there was any CCTV camera installed near the spot, which could help them identify the accused.

Sukhraj Singh, SHO, Nabha police station, said, “We are investigating the case with the help of inputs given by the injured. We are also looking for CCTV footage to get some clues to the crime.”
