Paragon Convent, Chandigarh

Paragon Convent School, Sector 24-B, Chandigarh, organised ‘healthy sandwich-making’ activity for the kindergarten students. The ‘no-flame’ cooking activity induced healthy eating habits as well as self-reliance among students. 

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh

Bhavan Vidyalaya organised a series of training workshops in the school auditorium. A workshop on communication skills was conducted by Mandeep Kaur, while Saloni Mahajan conducted a motivational workshop for teachers of the junior and senior wing.

A four-day summer internship programme was attended by 16 students of Class XII (psychology department) of Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28-B, Chandigarh. The event comprised a series of academic classes, orienting students to clinical disorders and psychotherapy, techniques of psychological interviewing along with experimental learning or understanding self.

An essay-writing competition on ‘Disaster Management’ was organiSed for Classes IX to XII. The topics included ‘Tourism one of the leading causes of disaster’, ‘Let’s wake up to the call of nature, It’s now or never’, ‘Be aware and Be prepared with respect to Disaster Management’ and ‘Human beings should be accountable for environmental disasters’.
