Palak dominates mat on Day 2

MOHALI: Palak Kaur Bijral of Jammu and Kashmir was adjudged the best all-round gymnast on the second day of the ongoing 24th Senior National Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships at Sector 78 Sports here today.

Palak Kaur Bijral of Jammu and Kashmir was adjudged the best all-round gymnast on the second day of the ongoing 24th Senior National Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships at Sector 78 Sports here today. 

Prabhjot Bajwa of Punjab followed in second place, while another J&K gymnast Mitali got the third position. 

In a tough competition, Palak secured 46.95 points to secure the top position. Prabhjot amassed 45.55 points, while Mitali got 42.35 points. 

In the team championship, Indian Railways dominated the field with a total of 368.35 points, followed by Punjab (324.15) and GFI West Bengal (322.75) in second and third places, respectively.
