Chandigarh, February 20
The NSS volunteers attended an orientation programme at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, today for conducting an audit of Chandigarh on various facets in order to make the city disabled friendly.
The programme was held to apprise volunteers of various places, which need to be surveyed and also to find out if disabled-friendly spots in the city were actually barrier-free or not.
During the orientation Prof BS Chavan, Director Principal, GMCH-32, and Director, GRIID, said “Nazli is coordinator and Dr Wasim Ahmad is supervisor for training and audit. They can be contacted if there is any area left without audit.”
