No headway in Sarthak school case

PANCHKULA:Two days after registration of an FIR for wrongful confinement of a Class III student of Sarthak Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-12A, in the toilet, the police have failed to make any headway in the case.

Two days after registration of an FIR for wrongful confinement of a Class III student of Sarthak Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-12A, in the toilet, the police have failed to make any headway in the case.

Sector 14 police station SHO Satish Kumar said with the CCTV cameras, statements of students and staff, they had not got anything in connection with the alleged beating of student. 

The investigations were on, he said.

The nine-year-old student had alleged that when he had gone to the washroom after lunch on September 19, two senior students hit him on the back of his head with a stick and allegedly forced him to have a capsule. 

He had even alleged that his mouth was tied with tape. Even in the medical examination of the student, there was no mention of any injury.


CCTVs without recording facility 

 A senior cop said some of the CCTV cameras of the school were without recording facility. The camera which, was covering the washroom entry, was also without recording facility..
