Meet Dahiya hit a 52-ball 57 to guide Saupin’s School, Sector 32, to a 24-run win over Infant Jesus School, Mohali, on the second day of the 13th St Kabir U-12 Cricket Trophy here today. 

Opting to bat, Saupin’s boys, aided by Dahiya, scored 124/6 in 20 overs. Jodvir and Chirag added 16 runs each to the total. 

Arshit and Rachit claimed two wickets apiece. 

Infant Jesus, in reply, were restricted to 100/8 in the stipulated. Gurshan (19) and Kartikey (18) made useful contributions to the chase. 

In the second match of the day, Learning Paths School, Mohali, defeated Smart Wonders School, Mohali, by nine wickets. 

Batting first, Smart Wonders were bowled out for 19 runs in 13.4 overs. Arihan and Lakshay claimed three wickets each for Learning Paths School, while Gursehaj took two. 

In reply, Learning Paths scampered home with nine wickets to spare. Takshit made 12 runs. — TNS
