‘Follow road safety norms’

PATIALA:In order to impart effective road safety education to students, Yadavindra Public School, Patiala, has been conducting a road safety education programme in association with the Patiala Foundation SADAK.

In order to impart effective road safety education to students, Yadavindra Public School, Patiala, has been conducting a road safety education programme in association with the Patiala Foundation SADAK. Students of Class VI-VIII would be part of this event. 

Ravi S Ahluwalia, chief functionary, Patiala Foundation, sensitised the students about importance of road safety. He provided highlighted importance of using seatbelts and wearing helmets, among other safety rules. 

“Every day we find ourselves stuck in jams. We need to influence people to follow safety guidelines responsibly. It is also important to educate children about the road safety,” said, YPS, Director, Maj General Sanjiv Varma, VSM (Retd). — OC
