Mobile phone, drugs recovered from jail

The Ambala police booked an unidentified person after a mobile phone, 10 tablets and 15-gm sulfa drug was recovered from a packet thrown inside the Ambala Central Jail on Saturday.

According to information, an on-duty warder observed that a person had thrown a packet inside the jail and then he managed to flee on a motorcycle. 

During checking, the packet was recovered from which a mobile, 10 tablets of ceflox-500mg and 15-gm sulfa were recovered. 

A case has been registered under Section 20 of the NDPS Act and Section 42 of the Prisons Act at the Baldev Nagar police station.
