ABVP misusing public office: SFS

Issuing a statement on the alleged misuse of public office by PU authorities and the ABVP, the Students For Society (SFS) said the ABVP was caught red-handed while holding a meeting with the warden of hostel no. 7.

“The BJP-RSS is resorting every mean effort to unduly influence students, which is a direct pernicious attack on the students’ democratic rights,” said SFS representatives. They said last year too, the ABVP was caught the same way holding a dinner party with the support of PU authorities. “VC shamelessly and openly attends ABVP programmes,” the SFS claimed. They claimed that the ABVP continuously resorts to misuse of public office. —TNS
