PU VC assures help on special exam for dropouts

CHANDIGARH: Two representatives of Afgan students, Shukria Sadat and Naweed Altaf, today met Panjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Raj Kumar and informed him of an uptick in the number of dropouts from UG/PG courses of Panjab University because of several personal issues.

Two representatives of Afgan students, Shukria Sadat and Naweed Altaf, today met Panjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Raj Kumar and informed him of an uptick in the number of dropouts from UG/PG courses of Panjab University because of several personal issues.

A letter from the Embassy of Afghanistan was submitted to the PU VC to consider conducting their special exam for these dropouts in order to complete their degrees and go back to their respective countries. The VC has assured them to provide help in this regard. — TNS
