VC takes stock of admission arrangements at hostels

CHANDIGARH: Prof Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University, along with DSWs Prof Neena Capalash and Prof Emanual Nahar, visited hostels to examine the arrangements made for admissions for the upcoming session.

Prof Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University, along with DSWs Prof Neena Capalash and Prof Emanual Nahar, visited hostels to examine the arrangements made for admissions for the upcoming session.

The team visited the girls’ hostel number 4, boys’ hostel number 3 and international hostel. The Vice-Chancellor urged the hostel staff to maintain mobility and attendance registers. He asked them to ensure proper waiting area for inmates and their parents. He also demanded a proper display of anti-ragging information at the hostels’ reception area.

A meeting for taking stock of progress of online hostel admission software to be launched from this session was also held.
