Vocational teachers seek salary hike, job security

Members of the Vocational Teachers’ Association held a protest against the “failure” of the Haryana Government in increasing their salary and providing them with job security, in front of the Shiksha Sadan Office, Sector 5, here today.

Vocational teachers’ delegation, comprising Gaurav Rana, Sunil Maur, Navin, Sumandeep and Pavandeep, had a meeting with BJP leader Virendra Chauhan, who assured them that a decision would be taken in this regard by Wednesday.

Mukesh Gujjar, state president of the association, said vocational teachers were united and would not rest till their demands were fulfilled. He said if their demands were not fulfilled, they would launch a massive protest.
