UIPS Prof honoured at Shanghai summit

CHANDIGARH: Dr Bhupinder Singh Bhoop, Prof at the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), PU, was awarded with ‘Pharmaceutical Quality by Design (QbD) Excellence Award’ by Shengjie Business Management and Consulting Co Ltd, during a two-day international summit held on May 16 and 17 in Shanghai.

Dr Bhupinder Singh Bhoop, Prof at the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), PU, was awarded with ‘Pharmaceutical Quality by Design (QbD) Excellence Award’ by Shengjie Business Management and Consulting Co Ltd, during a two-day international summit held on May 16 and 17 in Shanghai.

The coveted award was bestowed upon the Prof for his exemplary and seminal contribution towards steering pharmaceutical industry across the globe on various QbD paradigms. Over 500 participants and resource persons from USA, Canada, India, China and Singapore participated in the summit.

Bhoop also delivered a talk on ‘Omnipresence of QbD during Product Lifecycle: Quality Excellence Precedes Federal Compliance”. Professor Bhoop has delivered over 300 invited talks in India and overseas, including USA, Canada, UK, Germany, China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Dubai and Bangladesh. — TNS
