Chandigarh, may 19

Former Union Minister and Congress candidate Pawan Kumar Bansal expects a big victory. Talking to reporters after casting his vote at a booth in a government school at Sector 28, Bansal said an overwhelming enthusiasm shown by people for polling in the city was a clear indication that they want change, and “the Congress is going to win from Chandigarh with a big margin”. On ‘Modi factor’, Bansal said the election in Chandigarh was fought on local issues as people saw no development in the past five years.
