Kathak dancers mesmerise audience

Chandigarh, May 16

The Pracheen Kala Kendra organised the 13th episode of ‘Parampara’ here today, wherein students showcased their talent. They presented kathak, under the guidance of exponent Samira Koser.

They began their performance with ‘Guru Vandana’, followed by ‘Chhote nupur’ by little champs. The next was ‘Dadra’ performance with ‘Barsan Lagi badariya jhum ke’. Then traditional kathak was presented, wherein students presented ‘tode’, ‘tukde aamad’, ‘paran’, ‘gat nikas bhav’ in ‘teen tal’ amid thunderous applause. They concluded with a ‘Sargam.
