Irate government school teachers today held a Black Flag march and demanded review of their monthly salary.

The teachers marched towards Nandpur Kesho and Balad Khurd villages. The teachers the government had assured them to form a high-level committee to review the decision related to the monthly salary within 90 days, but the government has not formed a committee even after 60 days.

Davinder Punia of the Adhyapak Sangarsh Committee said, “Our protest was to make people aware of the indifferent attitude of the state government towards the education system. Despite students obtaining good marks in the PSEB  exams, the government has turned a blind eye towards teachers’ plight.”
