A woman, identified as Babli resident of Bir Ghaggar village in the district, died after being hit by a rashly driven motorcycle near the toll tax barrier on the Panchkula-Chandimandir road on Friday.

Parveen, victim’s sister-in-law, in her complaint to the police said she along with Babli had gone to PNB branch in Sector 6 to enquire about the pension of her deceased husband Raju. While returning back, she took a three wheeler near tank chowk located near Western Command.
