Mystery shrouds student’s death

Chandigarh, August 22

A student of BA-I at Post Graduate Government College (PGGC), Sector 11, Chandigarh, died under mysterious circumstances on the college campus today.

Garima, a resident of Mani Majra, fainted in her class following which she was shifted to the college dispensary. As she was not gaining consciousness, she was shifted to the GMSH-16 where doctors declared her brought dead.

The parents of the girl were informed. Though cardiac arrest could be the reason, the real cause would be known after the post-mortem, which will be conducted tomorrow, said a doctor. — TNS
