Motorcyclist dies in accident

CHANDIGARH: A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed while the pillion rider was injured after the motorcycle rammed into a Mahindra jeep, which was parked in Burail yesterday.

A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed while the pillion rider was injured after the motorcycle rammed into a Mahindra jeep, which was parked in Burail yesterday.

Kamaljit Suri, a resident of Burail village, alleged that the motorcycle rider, Parminder, a resident of Burail, and Rohit (21), a resident of Sector 45, who was riding pillion, were injured after their vehicle rammed into his jeep.

They were rushed to the GMCH-32, where Parminder was declared brought dead. —TNS
