MC women staff demand baby day care centre in office

Women employees demanded the setting up of a baby day care centre in the Municipal Corporation (MC) building in an interaction held with members of the Women Empowerment Committee here on Tuesday.

They also demanded changing rooms, cleanliness and the installation of sanitary napkin machines in all toilets in the MC building.

The meeting was held under the chairpersonship of Ravinder Kaur Gujral and attended by the committee members, including Heera Negi, Sheela Devi, Sunita Dhawan, Chanderwati Shukla, Shipra Bansal, and MC officials.

The committee decided to hold a programme for all women employees to celebrate karwachauth on October 26 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Activities such as dance, songs, fun games and quiz will be organised on the occasion.
