MC, NITTTR sign MoU for infra development

The Municipal Corporation today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (NITTTR), Sector 26, for technical and condition survey of roads and development of their renewal plan.

The MoU was signed and exchanged between THE MC and NITTTR at the MC office. It was signed by Shailender Singh, Chief Engineer, and Dr SS Pattnaik, Director, NITTTR, in the presence of Rajesh Kalia, Mayor. The MC intends to sign up the services of NITTTR for technical guidance in ascertaining the maintenance needs, thickness of overlays and also quality control. The MoU will allow the MC to have the data on pavement composition which otherwise is nearly impossible to construe from file records since inception. — TNS
