MC gets feedback on street vending

CHANDIGARH: The Chandigarh MC has received a total of 11 suggestions/objections from the stakeholders/general public regarding the bylaws, notified under the Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending Act, 2014.

The Chandigarh MC has received a total of 11 suggestions/objections from the stakeholders/general public regarding the bylaws, notified under the Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending Act, 2014. These will be scrutinised and amendments will be made accordingly by a review committee under the chairmanship of Additional Commissioner, MC, and put up in the ensuing Town Vending Committee (TVC) meeting for discussion and further course of action.
