Man fails to give tenant info, held

Chandigarh, February 20

The police have arrested a booth owner in Sector 10 here for not providing information about his tenant to the police.

According to the police, Abhay had rented his booth in Sector 10 without informing the police, which was a violation of the District Magistrate’s order.

In connection with the violation, a case under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against him at the Sector 3 police station. He was arrested and later released on bail. — TNS
