Man arrested in drug case

CHANDIGARH: Chandigarh: The UT police arrested a Bathinda resident in an NDPS case. Gurpreet, alias Aman, was arrested from Sector 43 on Sunday after he was found possessing 7.9-gram of drugs.

Two caught stealing bicycle

Chandigarh: Two youths were arrested while trying to steal a bicycle from Sector 22. Madhav Rana and Arjun Bhandari, both residents of Kansal, were caught while trying to steal Ashwani Kumar’s cycle from his residence on Sunday. TNS
