Pulwama attack condemned  

Chandigarh: Chandigarh Rowing Association has condemned the recent attack on the CRPF personnel in J&K’s Pulwama district. Chandigarh Rowing Association president Anmol Rattan Sidhu and honourary secretary Rajiv Sharma, along with other office-bearers took out a candle march at the GC Centre in Prayagraj to condemn the incident. The procession ended at the Shaheed Smarak. TNS

City cyclist Jai claims bronze

Chandigarh: City cyclist Jai has won a bronze medal in the road cycling competition at the 64th School National Games in Pune. Jai had suffered a back injury recently. TNS

Tennis meet from March 11  

Chandigarh:  The Indian leg of the Masters of Road to Wimbledon will be held at the Chandigarh Club here from March 11-16. India’s top 16 players in the U-14 age-group will be participating in the event, said the organisers. The top two players from the tournament will have the privilege of playing on the world famous Wimbledon courts, and at several other venues in the United Kingdom, later during the year. TNS
