Chandigarh, August 20

The Law Students Union (LSU) announced Hardik Ahluwalia as its candidate for the upcoming Panjab University (PU) Campus Students’ Council (PUCSC) elections here on Monday.

However, the LSU refrained from disclosing the post on which they would be contesting. The party also released its manifesto on the occasion. The party has divided its manifesto in four categories vis-a-vis academics, infrastructure, sports and medical.

According to Hardik Ahluwalia, these were the important categories which needed to be looked into as the university was lagging in almost all of them.

“There should be faculty exchange programmes from various national universities, more scholarships for students belonging to the middle class families,” said Hardik Ahluwalia, founder member of the LSU.
