Long route trains delayed

Chandigarh: Long route trains continue to run late on Friday. The Unchahar Express (14217), which was supposed to reach the Chandigarh railway station at 9.25 am, reached the city at 4.40 pm. Similarly, the Lucknow- Chandigarh Express (12231), which was schedule to reach here at 10.10 am, arrived at 4.05 pm. The Howra-Kalka Mail (12311) was scheduled to arrive at 3.20 am. However, it delayed by over two hours and reached at 3.30 pm. However, the train remained stationed at Chandigarh Railway station for a long time after one of the train passenger trains heading to Kalka developed a technical snag. The Chandigarh Superfast Express (22451) started with a delay of over two hours. — TNS
