Jewellery worth Rs 20L stolen from house

A theft has been reported from a house at Sunny Enclave, Kharar. Thieves struck at the house of Neeraj Yadav and reportedly decamped with Rs 20,000 and gold ornaments worth Rs 20 lakh.

The Kharar City police have registered a case under Sections 380 and 457 of the IPC on a complaint lodged by Neeraj Yadav, a resident of House No. 8451, Sector 125, Sunny Enclave, Kharar.

The complainant told the police that they left their house on September 14 after locking it and went out of station. When they returned on September 16, they found the main door of the house broken.  On entering the house, they found goods scattered and ornaments and cash missing. — OC
