J&K man prepared fake documents from Anantnag shop, reveals probe

CHANDIGARH: A resident of Anantnag in J&K, who was arrested with fake Aadhaar and PAN cards, had prepared both documents from a computer shop at Uttarshoo district, Anantnag, police investigations revealed.

A resident of Anantnag in J&K, who was arrested with fake Aadhaar and PAN cards, had prepared both documents from a computer shop at Uttarshoo district, Anantnag, police investigations revealed.

Meanwhile, the suspect, Irshad Ahmed (42), was produced before a court, which sent him to four-day police remand.

The police said they would arrest the co-accused who helped him in preparing documents and know the motive behind preparing forged/fake documents and modus operandi of committing the crime to unfold the conspiracy.

A woman called up the police to inform that a suspected Kashmiri terrorist was coming to Healing Touch Hospital, Sector 34, for treatment.

A police team apprehended Fayaaz Ahmed (42), his son Muneeb Ahmed (17), Shabzaar Ahmed and Irshad Ahmed, all residents of Anantnag district.

During Irshad’s search, the police recovered an Aadhaar card and a PAN card, both in the name of Ajay Kumar and having Irshad’s photo on them.
