The investigating officer in the BMW murder case recorded her statement in court today. She supported the prosecution theory and apprised the court of the outcome of the investigation so far. Her cross-examination also began today and will continue in the next hearing on October 31.
On February 9 last year, Harmehtab Singh Rarewala, alias Farid, and Balraj Singh Randhawa had allegedly hit Akansh Sen, nephew of former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, with their BMW car and run him over. Sen had succumbed to his injuries at the PGIMER and the duo, who was earlier booked for attempt to murder, were slapped the murder charge. — TNS
