Mohali, November 24

The Chandigarh international airport and Radio Indigo, India’s first international radio station, announced a partnership to launch the Chandigarh International Airport Limited Radio (CHIAL Radio), which is expected to formally commence from next week.

In the tie-up, Radio Indigo will now play international music at the airport. Passengers at the airport will be given flight-related information via the radio besides the playing of carefully curated music, making flying a better experience. Satyanaryana Murthy, CEO of Radio Indigo, said, “An international airport like that of Chandigarh deserved an international music station. We have always tried to go beyond the identity of a terrestrial radio station.”

Suneel Dutt CEO, CHIAL, said, “We are committed to provide the best experience to flyers. The Chandigarh airport is the first in the non-metro category, offering this service.”
