IIT forms council of local associates

ROPAR:To enhance the development of the IIT-Roparand nearby areas, the institute has formed a council of local associates, which includes renownedphilanthropists, academicians, industry representatives, legal representatives and the districtadministration.

To enhance the development of the IIT-Ropar and nearby areas, the institute has formed a council of local associates, which includes renowned philanthropists, academicians, industry representatives, legal representatives and the district administration. 

In the first meeting held at the institute, physician and philanthropist Dr RS Parmar was nominated as the convener of the council. 

The council, with the help of local organisations, will work for rapid transformation in existing modalities and to discuss potential solutions for the integration of tourism and technologies for beautifying the town.
