Have your say

Lurking danger

A bee hive in front of  the Indian Coffee House at Sector 17-E in Chandigarh poses a threat to passersby. Keeping in mind that so many people visit the sector everyday, the UT Aministration must act swiftly and remove the hive before any mishap. Sikander Singh, Chandigarh

Vote for development & prosperity

It is imperative for every individual to cast his/her vote and participate in the festival of democracy. It is also an essential and primary responsibility of a citizen to utilise his/her franchise for strengthening the democratic fabric of the country. Even if any voter finds no suitable candidate to represent his/her constituency, he/she may opt for NOTA. One must vote for an honest, upright and wise candidate for prosperity, development and welfare, but not for appeasement, vote bank, caste or on the basis of religion or language-based appeals. Especially, the young and first time voter ought to be aware of his/her primary duty of active participation in the electoral process. Dr Karan Singh Vinayak, Chandigarh
