Chandigarh: A lawn tennis tournament was organised to mark Guru Nanak Dev’s 550th birth anniversary at Panjab University. Shrawasti of Class IV won the U-12 and U-14 girls’ singles and doubles and Dhriti Parashar of Class VI was the runner-up in the U-12 and U-14 girls’ category of Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh. Both girls were awarded with trophies and were appreciated by their mentors and the school principal.

Students were given a warm welcome after the summer vacation. The first day was full of fun-filled activities for kindergarten students. Several art and craft activities were planned for the little ones. They enjoyed bud painting, cotton dabbing, paper tearing and pasting activities. TNS
