GNPS log twin win, Gurukul in next round

Guru Nanak Public School (Sector 36) cagers won their both league matches in the ongoing Youth State Basketball Championship, here today.  In the boys' category, the Sector 36 team ousted PMLSD Public School (Sector 32) 61-47. Dhruv was the major contributor in the win as he scored 24 points, while Harman added 17 points to the tally. Ansh (12 points) and Karanveer (10 points) were the two best performers for the Sector 32 team. Gurukul Global School (Mani Majra) defeated New Public School (Sector 18) 60-45 with the help of Amrendra (23 points) and Rohan (20 points). Harkirat (14 points) and Gaurav (13 points) scored for the Sector 18 team. In the girls' category, Guru Nanak team defeated Sacred Heart School (Sector 26) 51-14.—TNS
