Professor Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of OP Jindal University, visited PU’s University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS) and interacted with the department Director professor Rattan Singh and its faculty to discuss the avenues for collaborative projects.

He also deliberated on the ‘Globalisation of legal education and its impact’ and discussed his vision for lawyers in making.

Dwelling on how liberalisation of the economy has lead to the expansion of the legal profession, he addressed the challenges that law schools in India are facing, especially that of ‘Global Law’. As one of the youngest Vice-Chancellors in India, he brought forth his academic and administrative skills. TNS
