Fog: Three flights rescheduled

MOHALI: In view of the prevailing bad weather conditions here, the departure schedules of three flights have been changed for the next two days at Chandigarh International Airport, Mohali.

In view of the prevailing bad weather conditions here, the departure schedules of three flights have been changed for the next two days at Chandigarh International Airport, Mohali.

According to official spokesperson of the local airport authorities, the Jet Airways flights (9W2666 and 9W2658) from here to Delhi and the airline’s (9W2163) flight from here to Jaipur have been rescheduled for January 8 and January 9.

“The Jet Airways Delhi-bound flight (9W2666) will depart at 12.40 pm instead of 10 am while the flight 9W2658 will take off at 1.10 pm instead of 11 am. The Chandigarh-Jaipur flight (9W2163) has been rescheduled for departure from 11:15 am to 1:50 pm,” said the spokesperson.

Most flights at the local airport have been getting delayed in the past few days due to foggy weather in the area. Today, all flight operations remained suspended due to ongoing repair work on the runway. —TNS
